Lisa Brown - PreBallet, Ballet

I have taught young children in a school setting for a number of years. But to be able to teach ballet has always been a dream of mine and something I’ve always wanted to do. I love being able to imagine and create with these young ballerinas using those elements of dance.

I feel very fortunate to have been taught by Julie and Stacey Orlob when I was younger. They are amazingly creative and talented. I love to teach at a place where in my youth I gained a love and respect for the art of ballet.

Ballet is beautiful. I love the way it feels. There is a lot hard work and dedication to the art to make it look so effortless. Learning the technique of ballet gave me a strong foundation for all other types of dance.

I believe it is important to make each dancer that I teach to feel unique and important by pointing out their strengths and encouraging confidence in their abilities to dance.
