Meg Furner - Ballet, Character

I love to teach ballet for a few reasons. One of the reasons I love to teach is because I love working with children! I have worked with children for over six years and have loved every second of it. I have also had a deep love for ballet that has grown throughout the years. I would love to pass on my love for ballet to these children!

I absolutely love the atmosphere at CBT. There is always a positive attitude and all of the staff is very approachable. If I ever need a question answered or need someone to help me, there is always someone to help!

My love for ballet has grown over the years and I believe it is a great way to express yourself. I have been here at this school for over sixteen years. Not only do we learn ballet but we learn life lessons that have personally helped me in my life decisions and not just in the dance classroom.

My most important philosophy is to make sure that the children I teach understand dance. I want them to know what steps are what, as well as wanting them to know how their own body works and that every body is a little different. Of course, I hope this goes without saying, I want them to have fun! I hope that learning Ballet is an experience that all of my students can remember.
